I’m a writer, director, and producer based in New York.
My narrative and documentary short films have played at festivals worldwide. My latest short doc “How to Make Challah” premiered at the 2024 New York Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center and screened at Rooftop Films. I have developed TV series and films with production companies in Tel Aviv, New York, and London, including Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz, the creators and producers of Fauda. I produce narrative and documentary films under my production company Friday Films.
My writing has been published in the New York Times, Harper’s, and more.
I work in consulting, strategy, and communications for film, TV and the arts, with a particular focus on Israeli and Jewish cinema and culture.
Awards and fellowships include: NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Screenwriting (New York Foundation for the Arts), Yaddo residency in filmmaking, Cine Qua Non Independent Film Lab, la Porte Peinte Artist Residency, the Gotham’s Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film.
I hold a B.A. in film from Yale, where I graduated cum laude and with honors, and I studied film at FAMU in Prague. I live in Brooklyn and travel often to Tel Aviv.
